About Us

Credit Union Service Network (CUSN) Corporation was established in 1992 to help participating credit unions serve members in areas outside of their immediate office locations via shared branching. As of May 2008, CUSN has successfully implemented shared branching for over 86 credit unions with over 230 locations in Colorado, Nebraska, New Mexico, Idaho, Iowa, and Wyoming.

Credit unions own the network and a volunteer board governs the direction of the organization. CUSN’s affiliation with shared branching nationwide is through CO-OP Shared Branching, based in Duluth, Georgia. CO-OP Shared Branching is the credit union movement’s largest shared branching network representing 80% of all national locations and 64% of credit unions participating in shared branching. CO-OP Shared Branching is the only shared branching network representing credit unions, CU Leagues/Associations, CUSOs, CUNA, and CUNA Mutual.
